Eugene L. Jacobs is the pastor of the Union Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Talladega, Alabama where he grew up.  He has served in this role since 2014.  He is passionate about learning, discovering new things, and teaching with the emphasis on simplicity and relatability.  After having earned a Master's of Divinity, he is now an instructor at the Rushing Springs School of Theology in Sylacauga, Alabama.  He also works for a local nonprofit agency, bridging the gap between the faith and mental health communities in order to equip faith leaders to better serve individuals who struggle with substance misuse and substance use disorders.  Eugene has a strong conviction to be a useful instrument in The Hands of Almighty God.
